Appreciate Every Moment

Jill and The ALLELES Design Studio, Ltd.

It was a fun 1960's inspired photo session for prosthetic design cover manufacturer The ALLELES Design Studio, Ltd.  Jill and I did the photo shoot in Michigan and worked with Emery (Content Creator) at ALLELES, a Canadian-based design studio.  Emery's ideas and storyboard helped create an amazing series of images.  You rock Emery!

"I showed the images to the President and Artistic Director of the studio and she absolutely loved them." - Emery

Holly - Session 2

It was back to Kensington to complete Holly's Senior photo session.  Once again, the forecast was wrong.  It rained.  In between the rain showers, we managed to make it work.

This time, we worked at the Kensington Metropark Farm Center.  Because of the dreary weather, we were the only visitors and had the entire farm to ourselves.  We needed to get out of the rain so we worked in the horse barn.  The draft horses were out in the pasture which made the horse stalls available for a few photos.  I loved working with the wood and natural light.

We worked at the poultry house because the colors matched the colors in Holly's dress.

Looking around for more backgrounds, the posts at the donkey pen looked promising.

We worked with the Fall decorations around the farm.

Then a few more photos at a couple of other locations and then the fun was over.

Holly

It was a cold Fall day with the threat of rain attempting to ruin this Senior session.  The forecast gave us a couple of hours of no rain so the decision was made to go ahead with the photo session.

Kensington Metropark was the agreed background and the multiple locations did not disappoint.  The Fall colors were not on full display, but I made it work with the few trees that held their color.  It drizzled/rained for the first 30 minutes, then it was cloudy the rest of the session.

Rain or shine, we made it work.

Tasha

This was my first pet photo session and it was an absolute treat photographing this fluffy ball of soft fur.

Tasha is a BEAUTIFUL, sweet and oh so adorable, 12 year old American Eskimo.  Tasha's health is failing and it's been "touch and go" for the last two months.  When my friend asked for a few keepsakes, I was more than happy to help..

Trevor

I've known Trevor all his life and his family for nearly three decades.  This was the second Senior photo session I've done for them.

Trevor chose an apple orchard and a local park for his photo session locations.  I had my doubts with the apple orchard because I've never been to this particular location so I had no idea what I would have to deal with in backgrounds and lighting.  Well, I might as well do the best with what I have...
