On Sunday, September 7, 2014, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels performed at the Open House and Air Show at Selfridge Air National Guard Base located in Harrison Township, Michigan. It was an early start to a very long 10-hour day. The gates opened at 8:00a so it was a 7:30a departure from my home.
With each F/A-18 Hornet's fastest speed at 700 mph (just under Mach 1) and its slowest speed at 120 mph, the performance gave me the opportunity to work on my photography skills.
